Design & Production
A solid block of timber, a live-edge slab or a straightedge plank, with all their superior characteristics and limitations, are the starting point when designing a piece of furniture. These characteristics, combined with appropriate tools and techniques, result in unique pieces that are impossible to mass-produce.
The whole design and production process is seen as a part of a much broader picture – it’s only a small piece in a long tradition of craftsmanship, classic forms and passed-on techniques.
