In its original form, wood is a remarkably solid and long-lasting material. All of our products are designed to last, provided they are used and handled with care.
Wood is an organic material, which means it is constantly changing due to the impact of light, temperature and air humidity. This change can be seen in the darkening of the material over a longer period of time, as well as in seasonal dimensional variations.
Wooden furniture must not be exposed to direct sunlight or be kept close to a heat source. Under such conditions, the wood rapidly dries out and, in extreme cases, undesirable consequences like joint splitting and cracking may occur.
Wooden surfaces coated with natural oils should be protected from direct contact with hot objects. Coasters must be used under bottles and glasses, where condensation is most likely to occur. If liquid is spilled over a piece of furniture, the stain should be removed as soon as possible with a damp but well-wrung cloth. Chemical cleaning agents should be avoided. A damp but well-wrung soft fabric is perfectly suitable for everyday maintenance.
Beautiful patina forms over the years on wood exposed to daylight. Therefore, it is necessary to keep track of objects permanently arranged over the furniture because they can lead to undesirable variations in wood color.
Majcan & Majcan Furniture d.o.o., Velika Trnovitica 227, Velika Trnovitica, Croatia, guarantees that its products shall have no material or manufacturing defects withing a period of one (1) years from the date of delivery.
If defects were to occur in the aforementioned period, Majcan & Majcan Furniture undertakes to repair or replace furniture parts, or deliver a new piece of furniture at its own expense.
Warranty does not cover defects and damage caused by the following:
- impacts and wear;
- inadequate use and maintenance contrary to prescribed instructions;
- all product modifications made without our consent;
- abnormal and unreasonable use which does not fall under the scope of everyday personal use.
All complaints must be sent via mail or e-mail no later than one month from the occurrence of the damage.
