FAQs
How much is my project going to cost?
Our work is a bit more expensive because it requires more precision and care. The price of a specific product is mostly defined in accordance with the quantity of necessary work. The material usually comprises 15% to 20% of the total price, unless a rare and special wood is used. Standard prices for most popular products are the following:
- mirrors, shelves, boxes: EUR 300,00
- stools, coffee tables: EUR 600,00
- smaller dining room tables: EUR 2.500,00
- dressers, closets, cabinets: EUR 3.500,00
- large dining room tables: EUR 4.000,00
The standard price of the listed products increases depending on the complexity and duration of manufacture and the quality and type of material.
Can the price be lower?
A lower price means lower quality. Costs can be reduced by using cheaper wood, if a certain project allows for such an option. Sometimes it is possible to use lower grade wood, wood damaged by insects or even plywood where appropriate (e.g., dresser back panel, bottom of drawer, etc.). Furthermore, we are willing to use alternative joints the quality of which we can vouch for and which require less manufacturing effort.
How does your typical project come about?
Our typical project, for a private or business client, starts with an introductory conversation in order to establish the client’s needs, as well as to offer an initial idea for the design, manufacturing process and final price. If the client asks for something designed and manufactured in one of our previous projects, we can manufacture the product with identical features or modify it for a different kind of space and use. When designing a project from the ground up, we charge modeling separately before we agree on the final version of the design and price. Once an agreement is made, 50% of the agreed-upon price is charged and the project enters the work schedule.
What types of wood do you work with and where does the wood come from?
We currently work with Slavonian oak and black walnut from the Vukovar area. We are also gradually starting to work with our own timber: European walnut, local black walnut, ash, cherry, pear and mulberry.
How long does manufacturing and delivery take?
The current period for manufacturing a single piece of furniture is 45 to 60 days.
Do you offer delivery and installation services?
We deliver products personally to all addresses within 250 km of our workshop. We can come to an agreement or find an alternative solution for locations outside of the 250 km radius. The price of delivery depends on the distance between our workshop and the target address, as well as on the quantity of ordered furniture and its dimensions. All additional work regarding installation (drilling holes in walls, removing skirting boards, etc.) is charged extra.
